Oona

Oona

Lanz Hollow Oona of Britannia

(Call name Oona) Oona is an Irish name meaning Lamb and was quite popular in the middle ages. Oona is a lamb, she is the sweetest girl, she loves to play and she was hesitant to chase geese when we first started training her. Now she does it on command to save our row crops from being ravaged by marauding canadian birds that are here in New England year round. She is good with kids and the elderly alike. She is approx 40lbs, on the smaller side for scotch collies but boy can she jump. From a stand still she can jump aprox. 4.5 feet into the bed of a pick up truck with no help. She’s great on the farm, safe with chickens and rabbits. She has wonderful listening skills and isn’t a flight risk at all ( a quality I breed for). She is out of Dancing Dog Farm Gwynen and Glen Craigean’s Dunrovin Cormac (call name Wallace).
